DECLARATION OF LOCAL STATE OF EMERGENCY
EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1 OF 2021
I, TIMOTHY P. EGAN, duly elected Mayor of the Village of Woodbury, New York, do hereby declare as an EXECUTIVE ORDER the following:
WHEREAS, on March 15, 2020 I issued an Executive Order declaring a local Declaration of Emergency with conditions owing to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which, among other things closed Village Hall and all offices of the Village to the public, and directed that any member of the public needing interaction with Village officials for information and/or services to contact Village officials by telephone or email, both of which are available on the Village of Woodbury website at www.villageofwoodbury.com, and in light of the continuing nature of the pandemic,
WHEREAS, the Village of Woodbury continues to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and the public health emergency that was the underlying the initial Declaration of Local State of Emergency for public health and safety emergency still exists and portends to get worse; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Timothy P. Egan, as Mayor and Chief Executive of the Village of Woodbury, New York do hereby issue this prior Declaration of Emergency for 30 days, including the reasons therefor, the powers invoked thereby, and the measures undertaken therein, pursuant to Executive Law § 24(1), with no new conditions so as to be consistent with the Governor’s Executive Order 202.5.
This executive order shall take effect at 12:01 a.m. on January 8, 2021 and expire at midnight on February 7, 2021, unless further extended by order of the Supervisor.

EMERGENCY ORDER FOR SMALL BUSINESS RECOVERY ESTABLISHING EMERGENCY REGULATIONS TO PERMIT TEMPORARY WAIVERS OF ZONING REGULATIONS AND PROVIDE FOR OUTDOOR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 9 OF 2020
WHEREAS, on June 8, 2020 I issued an Executive Order establishing emergency regulations to permit temporary waivers of zoning regulations and provide for outdoor business activities, which is available on the Village of Woodbury website at www.villageofwoodbury.com, and in light of the continuing nature of the pandemic and a review of those emergency regulations,
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2020 I issued a modification to that Executive Order concerning hours of operation and pets,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Timothy P. Egan, as Mayor and Chief Executive of the Village of Woodbury, New York do hereby continue the above noted June 17, 2020 Executive Order for 30 days, including the reasons therefor, the powers invoked thereby, and the measures undertaken therein, pursuant to Executive Law § 24(1), with no new conditions so as to be consistent with the Governor’s Executive Order 202.5.
This executive order shall take effect at 12:01 a.m. on August 29, 2020 and expire at midnight on September 30, 2020, unless further extended by order of the Mayor.

Orange County is currently advancing a grant project to improve pedestrian safety on County owned roads in several municipalities. One of these intersections is located in the Village of Woodbury. The improvements are generally related to new hi-visibility striping and signage for uncontrolled intersections . Please see below for the concept plans for this intersection.

As Per the Village of Woodbury Water/Wastewater Administrator, water restrictions in Woodbury Junction/ Woodbury Villas will be going into effect immediately, until further notice.
Due to mechanical failure at the Pump Station no outside water usage will be permitted.
As Per the Village of Woodbury Water/Wastewater Administrator, water restrictions in Amdur Park will be going into effect immediately, until further notice.
Due to the lack of rain to replenish the aquifer, and the amount of outside water being used, the Village has no other option than to put restrictions into effect.
